Video games is the most profitable entertainment area with an unstoppable growth both nationally and internationally. However, creating video games is not the same as playing games. In recent years, there has been a greater demand for professionals with skills in programming and art creation for games. In Portugal, such an industry, which is increasingly challenging and competitive, seeks another (yet rare) skill that is to be a Game Designer.

This Postgraduate Course in Game Design prepares future professionals for the technical and artistic challenges that characterize the production of video games , by providing them with a range of methodologies that will enable them to create playable prototypes, and the opportunity to be mentored by some of the best and most experienced Game Designers of the industry.

In sum, it aims to train/build Game Designers that will be fully prepared to integrate and act in today's video game industry.
